On Saturday, July 24th, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. please join us at the Brackenridge Park & Campground for our “End of Summer Bash”! Activities include live music, beer and wine vendors, food trucks, market vendors, water slides, a Kid’s Fun Zone, hayrides, an outdoor game area and to wind down the night, there will be a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.! Event admission is just $10.00 per person and includes the All-inclusive Armband, which gives children and adults access to everything the event has to offer! Children under the age of 2 are FREE! First up on our entertainment lineup is local artist, Jaclyn Gonzales from 4:30-6:00 p.m.! You can catch Jaclyn playing at local restaurants and bars in and around the Golden Crescent area.
Next up, we have Chris Zuber from 6:30-8:00 p.m.! Chris is a Jackson County native who plays at local restaurants, venues, and special events all over the Golden Crescent! We can’t wait to welcome Chris to the BRC!
Finally, Stephanie Ross and David Stockton, members of the Southern Drive Band will take the stage from 8:30-10:30 p.m.! Stephanie and David play at several local businesses throughout the Crossroad’s area and we are extremely lucky to have them close out our 2nd End of Summer Bash!
Rusty Hook Winery will be on-site selling a wide variety of wine AND wine slushes from 4:00-10:30 p.m.! Wine can be purchased by the glass or by the bottle! Make sure you stop by The Ganado Education Foundation Booth as they will be selling beer to raise money to benefit their school district! There will also be several market vendors set up from 4:00-7:30 p.m. selling a variety of items! Bring your appetite because we will have Trevino Concession’s and Taco Cito’s food trucks on-site serving up your favorite festival foods from 4:00-10:30 p.m.!
One of the many activities your family will enjoy is the Kid’s Fun Zone! The Fun Zone is equipped with several different stations including Face Painting, Rock Painting, a Bubble Station, Hula Hoops, and then the whole family can get their hair sprayed at our Hair Coloring Station! The Kids Fun Zone will be open from 4:00-7:30 p.m.!
Make sure to bring an extra set of clothes for the kids because there will be 3 water slides available for them to enjoy from 4:00-7:30 p.m.! There will also be a regular dry bounce house for those who may not want to get wet.
Other fun family activities include the Outdoor Game Area which consists of Cornhole, Horseshoes, Washers, Giant Jenga, Tic-Tac-Toe, Connect Four, Ninja Warrior Steps and a Hay Slide! Families can also jump on a Hay Ride as it winds through beautiful Brackenridge Park & Campground.
