BRC Adventure Days

Event Information!

ONLINE REGISTRATION STARTS TUESDAY, APRIL 22ND AT 9:00AM!

Every day is an Adventure at the Brackenridge Recreation Complex! We hope kiddos aged 8 - 12 will join us for all of our Adventure Day Activities!

Each session starts at 8:30 am and concludes at 11:30 am with the exception of the final session, Party in the Park Day, where lunch will be provided. That session will conclude at 12:00 pm.

Pre-registration is required for all Adventure Day activities. This helps us ensure that we have adequate supplies and staff. All registrations must be received by May 30, 2025.

Each Adventure Day Program is only $10.00!

Registration for all summer camps begin Tuesday, April 22nd at 9:00AM! More information on online registration coming soon!

June 11: Nature Art in the Park

Kids will explore the varied natural areas of the park for inspiration, then, create wonderful works of art using a variety of materials and talents to showcase unique perspectives. Don’t miss this chance for your camper to explore their creativity outdoors!

Cost: $10.00

June 18: Fishing Frenzy

Kids will be able to enter a fishing derby challenging all who participate to see who will catch the biggest, smallest, or the most fish. Medals will be awarded to the winners!

June 25: Build a Camp

Ever wonder what it takes to camp outdoors? Well, now is your chance! Kids will learn basic camping skills while working together as a team to set up their very own camp for a day!

Cost: $10.00

July 2: Nature in a Nutshell

Students will get a “hands-on” overview of nature with live animal interactions and nature-themed crafts. Topics will include the life cycle of butterflies, the life cycle of frogs, how animals communicate, how effective camouflage works, how snakes eat, and so much more!

July 9: Party in the Park

Don’t Miss out on some summer fun at the last adventure day!

Don’t Miss out on some summer fun at the last adventure day! What better way to celebrate the last Adventure of the summer than with a water day party, and MORE! Students will need to bring their own nerf gun equipment and don’t forget some clothes you can get wet in.
