Kayak Rentals

Enjoy a self-guided kayak adventure on Lake Texana. We currently have 4 kayaks that can accommodate 1-2 people at a time. We provide lifejackets ranging in size from Child to Adult Super Large. Visit the Texana Community Education Center during business hours to begin your kayaking journey! For rental information, click the button below!

Fish Catch & Release Pond

The BRC catch & release fishing pond is located behind the main event center. It is open daily and is free to the public. This 8 acre pond has two fishing piers and is stocked with blue gill perch, red ear perch, catfish, and largemouth bass for catch and release only. (a fishing license is required) picnic tables, a playground and a restroom are also located at the pond.

Fishing Piers

There are 3 fishing piers located within Texana Park & Campground. 2 of those 3 fishing piers are lighted to make nighttime fishing easier for our guests! For guest's convenience, a fish cleaning station is located near the marina in Brackenridge Park and at the Texana Park boat ramp.

Boating

Lake Texana offers a variety of boating activities for your year-round enjoyment. Whether you enjoy a peaceful day of boating, skiing or just relaxing under the warm Texas sun, there is plenty of room on our uncrowded waters. Texana Park and Campground is the perfect place to canoe or kayak in the Texana cove inside the campground. Bring your boat, kayak or canoe when you visit and join in the fun!
